Ashton Old Baths Innovation Centre, due to open in Spring 2017, is a brand new high-tech home for budding small and medium-sized businesses from the creative and digital sector. Situated in a freestanding structure within the main pool hall of the newly-renovated Ashton Old Baths, the new hub boasts first class facilities for growing and dynamic companies looking for office space with dark fibre (broadband), which provides the highest speeds and reliability achievable in the UK. There are flexible offices available over three floors of the pod structure that can be altered to accommodate tenant requirements.

ATIC provides fully serviced accommodation on flexible terms, inclusive of power, telephony and 1 GBit/sec network. Shared facilities include cafe, meeting rooms, bike storage, electric care charging, showers. As part of their package of support from the University, ATIC companies receive a free diagnostic from the University's business development team in order to identify the best fit of expertise and services. There is ample rent-a-desk provision for very early stage companies, closest to the management centre. ATIC has been purpose designed to accommodate a prospective grow-on community, adjacent to a plot ready for development.
