Description

Documentation is the backbone of every great project. Too often, valuable knowledge is scattered, incomplete, or outdated. The OpenDocs Hackathon, hosted by Silicon Hack Club, is here to change that.

This hackathon invites students, developers, and tech enthusiasts to contribute high-quality, open-source documentation on essential developer topicsβ€”from beginner-friendly coding guides to advanced DevOps and AI/ML practices.

Our goal is to build a living, open-source documentation hub that will help thousands of learners and future hackers. Each participant will select a pre-defined topic, write a structured Markdown guide, and submit it as a Pull Request.

  • Pick a topic (e.g., Git Basics, Docker, Machine Learning Intro, HTML & CSS, etc.)
  • Write a clear, detailed, and beginner-friendly guide in Markdown format
  • Submit your work to our public GitHub repository
  • Once merged, your contribution will be published on our Documentation Hub
