About the Hackathon:
The CodingBrains Online Student Hackathon 2026 is an exclusive, career-focused event designed to help students apply their coding skills in real-world projects. Participants will build innovative solutions using Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Bootstrap, and showcase their work in a competitive, industry-aligned environment.

Who Can Participate:

  • Open exclusively to students and learners

  • Individual or team participation (1โ€“4 members per team)

  • Beginners and intermediate coders are welcome

Technology Focus:

  • Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React

  • Backend / Python Projects: Python scripts, APIs, or data-driven applications

  • Optional tools: GitHub, Netlify, Vercel for project hosting

What You Will Gain:

Rules & Guidelines:

  • Work must be original and completed during the hackathon period

  • One submission per team (all team members must be listed)

  • Projects must include a GitHub repository and a working demo or video

  • Late or incomplete submissions will not be evaluated

 

Requirements

๐Ÿ“ Submission Requirements

All participants must submit their projects following these requirements to ensure eligibility for evaluation:

  1. Project Title

    • A clear, descriptive name for your project.

  2. Short Description

    • A 2โ€“3 sentence overview of the project, highlighting its purpose and features.

  3. GitHub Repository Link (Mandatory)

    • Public repository containing all source code.

    • Ensure proper folder structure and README file with instructions.

  4. Demo Link / Video (Mandatory)

    • Working project link hosted on platforms like Netlify, Vercel, or GitHub Pages, or

    • A short video (max 5 minutes) demonstrating functionality.

  5. Tech Stack Used

    • Mention the technologies, frameworks, and libraries utilized.

  6. Screenshots / Visuals (Optional but Recommended)

    • Include images or mockups that showcase your UI/UX or project workflow.

โš  Important Notes for Participants
  • Incomplete submissions (missing GitHub repo or demo/video) will not be evaluated.

  • All work must be original and created during the hackathon period.

  • One team member submits on behalf of the team; all members must be listed.

  • Submissions must adhere to the deadline specified on Devpost.
