We are proud to host University of Kent's first hackathon. It is run by the Computer Science Society committee at the university and will take place on campus.

Day 1 - 9th May

10 am - Opening Ceremony

10:30 am - Hacking starts

12:30 pm - Lunch

1pm - Hacking with GitHub Copilot

3pm - Experiment with Google AI Studio

6pm - Dinner

7pm - HUK Cup Stacking

8pm - Yoga

Requirements

What to Build

Build whatever you want and is doable in 24 hours. 

Whether it’s a cool idea, something you’ve wondered how it’s built (a file system, command-line tool, blockchain, AI model, etc.), or something you want to learn to build (a website, game) or a new language/software platform (Unity, C#, Haskell).

What to Submit

  • Project Name
  • Link to GitHub
  • Description of your project:
    • What does your project do?
    • What inspired your project?
    • What did you learn?
  • Table Number
  • Picture of your project
  • Names of all team members
