  1. Chloe Smith, the founder of Tuft Global, has made significant strides in the pet care industry with her innovative grooming app, Tuft. Launched in June 2021, Tuft is the UKโ€™s first app-integrated salon management software aimed at dog groomers, providing them with a convenient way to manage their business and connect with new clients. The idea for Tuft arose from Chloeโ€™s personal experience of the difficulty in getting grooming appointments for her family dog, leading to the development of a solution that would ease this process for dog owners and groomers alike. Under Chloeโ€™s leadership, Tuft has seen impressive growth, including a 29% increase in app downloads since January and an expansion into the European market, specifically Spain. This growth has been supported by a successful round of external investment, totaling ยฃ304k, and the company is preparing for a second round of investment worth up to ยฃ2.2 million in early 2023. Tuftโ€™s expansion into Spain included bringing on board new team members with significant experience in customer service and sales to cater to both the UK and Spanish markets . Chloeโ€™s entrepreneurial efforts have not gone unnoticed. She was recognized as a finalist in the Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year category at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2022, a testament to her innovative service and contribution to the industry out of over 5,300 entrants.
