Wow James! A lot to unpack here, definitely going to have to read again. If you had to prioritise 5 Strategies what would you do?

Thank you! Nothing like a brain dump on a Thurs!

If I had to focus on five core SEO strategies, I'd probably focus on these:

High Quality Content - Obviously!

Quality content is the foundation of any successful SEO strategy. Focus on producing valuable, relevant, and engaging content that addresses your audience's needs and interests. This includes:

  • Comprehensive guides and how-tos
  • In-depth articles with original insights
  • Visual content like infographics and videos

UX Optimisation - Really important

User experience is crucial for both retaining visitors and improving your search engine rankings. Key aspects to optimize include:

  • Mobile-Friendliness: Ensure your site is responsive and performs well on all devices.
  • Page Speed: Optimize loading times by compressing images, minimizing code, and leveraging browser caching.
  • Intuitive Navigation: Make it easy for users to find what they need with a clear and logical site structure.

Voice Search Optimisation

With the increasing use of smart speakers and mobile assistants, optimizing for voice search can help you capture a broader audience. Focus on:

  • Using natural language and conversational keywords
  • Creating FAQ pages that address common questions in a concise manner
  • Including long-tail keywords that reflect how people speak

Strong Backlinks from Authority Sites in your Industry

Backlinks from reputable sites can significantly boost your search engine rankings. Focus on:

  • Guest Posting: Write high-quality articles for authoritative sites in your industry.
  • Outreach: Build relationships with influencers and bloggers for backlink opportunities.
  • Creating Link-Worthy Content: Develop content that naturally attracts links, such as original research, infographics, and comprehensive guides.

These core SEO optimisation strategies are a great way for any startup to increase their SEO, while focusing on high quality content, that users can read on a well optimised website! Once the technical groundwork has been completed, go mad! Get guest posts, or relevant backlinks from sites in your industry - like SEO blogs for example.
