Who you are

  • You have excellent written and spoken English (Fluent) and German (C2) skills and an exceptional feel for language and messaging
  • You are a recent graduate or have 0.5–2 years of experience in sales, operations, business development, VC, or a fast-paced startup (internships also count)
  • You love building relationships and aren’t afraid to pick up the phone or hit β€œsend” on a bold email
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

What the job involves

  • You will play a big role in one of the biggest levers we have for growing the company: generating demand. We don’t (and can’t afford to) micro-manage. We have gathered many best practices and will give you full context on things that work. You can test things out, but at the end of the day, you have full ownership in how you deliver your results (with a strong support network from within and outside the company). You will:
  • Generate a high-quality sales pipeline
  • Research and identify target companies and leads matching our ideal customer profile
  • Source and qualify outbound leads by applying qualification frameworks such as PACTT
  • Triage and qualify inbound leads from marketing activities
  • Manage prospecting work-flow in Sales Navigator and HubSpot
  • Set up Discovery meetings with the sales team
  • Report regularly to the founding GTM Lead in weekly 1:1s and sales meetings
  • Consistently meet or overachieve on activity and monthly Sales Accepted Lead targets
  • Feedback prospect learnings to the Secfix product team to help refine our go-to-market positioning and playbook

    As regulations around data protection grow in numbers and force, compliance has never been more essential for business, both for legal reasons and to build customer confidence. However, few small and medium businesses have the in-house resources needed to set up their IT security at the same level as larger companies. SecFix exists to change this, connecting with a company's tech stack to automate all processes around attaining ISO 27001 and GDPR certification.

    SecFix solves two problems at once: reducing the time and cost of auditing processes and systems for certification by up to 30%, while at the same time building a company's resistance to cybercriminals and exposure to punitive fines and lost customer loyalty. It has developed a large customer base of fast-growing companies including Kertos, Satcom, and Zinc.

    The company has recently raised a significant amount of investment in an oversubscribed seed funding round. It is using this capital to further develop its platform and hire additional talent. SecFix is also planning to expand into additional European markets and is well-poised to become a significant company in the security compliance space.
