GENETHON: Code.Create.Conquer! is an internal hackathon organised by Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, as part of Gyanotsav 2025 Techfest. The event aims to empower students to develop innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges faced by organisations and society. It provides a platform for young minds to identify problems, design viable solutions, and potentially transform them into business startups.

Key Details:

• Duration: 24 hours
• Team Size: 2 to 6 members
• Registration Fee: ₹599 per team
• Eligibility: Open to all college students (undergraduate and postgraduate)
• Categories: Various problem statements across different domains

Event Structure:

1. Pre-Hackathon:

   • Registration: Teams must register online via the official Techfest website www.gyanotsav.com.
   • Preparation: Participants are encouraged to familiarise themselves with relevant technologies and tools.

2. Hackathon Kick-off:

   • Orientation Session: Organisers will explain rules, judging criteria, and available resources.

3. Development Phase:

   • Coding & Prototyping: Teams develop their projects from scratch over approximately 18-20 hours.
   • Collaboration: Effective teamwork is essential to tackle challenges and integrate components.

4. Progress Check-ins:

   • Optional Updates: Teams may share progress and receive feedback to stay on track.

5. Final Stage:

   • Wrapping Up: Teams finalise their projects, ensuring functionality and preparing demos.
   • Presentation Preparation: Teams prepare a 5-10 minute presentation covering problem definition, solution, demo, technologies used, impact, and scalability.

6. Submission:

   • Code Submission: Teams submit source code, project files, and documentation via an online portal.
   • Final Presentations: Teams present their projects to a panel of judges, followed by a Q&A session.

• Potential for future development

Prizes:

• Cash Prizes: Two cash prizes up to ₹25,000 each for winning teams.
• Participant Rewards: Exciting tech gadgets for all participants.
