  1. Ezequiel Canestrari is known for backing successful innovators, so I bet this one will turn out big! I'm not in the industry, but I'll keep my eye out for news articles about Recfindr. It's a hot area, and I see them reaching the top.
  2. That was a fantastic read! Thanks for sharing. I suspect you're correct. I imagine that they're receiving a flood of applications, and I don't blame for looking for a way to manage it all.
  3. They were too late to the game and failed to carve out a specific demographic to speak to. IRL was destined to fail. I'm surprised they managed to snag any investor funding.
  4. Is it difficult to create a forum? I always assumed that I'd need technical skills to pull it off. I have my resume posted on LinkedIn, which has helped me connect with potential investors. I also use TikTok to reach my audience. It's hard to measure how successful I've been with it, though.
  5. I'm fascinated by the show, Dragon's Den, and would love an opportunity to pitch to Sara Davies. Even if you couldn't make a deal, it would still be a good way to get your product in public view. I found a great video about pitching that is worth a look if you're interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUDbA5qCZQg Which investor would you be most likely to connect with? I think appealing to their personalities helps with getting a deal. Have you been on the show?

  7. I hired a digital marketing company through Upwork's platform to give me some ideas. The first set didn't hit the mark, but the second set had several good ideas.
  8. @Berry, I'm horrible at that bit, so I'm glad you asked for tips. I'll be taking notes on this one. @Harper, what if it all falls apart? I couldn't handle falling out with family. You took a big risk.
  9. Do you mean in terms of product development, advertising, or something else? For me, I had a lightbulb moment where I knew what my product could solve and who it could best help, so I never struggled with defining my niche.
