Expression of Interest for a Macmillan Cancer Support Innovation project
Description
This Expression of Interest (EOI) outlines Macmillan Cancer Support's request for agencies to collaborate on designing, testing and delivering a new cancer information and support offer(s). The project is part of Macmillan's 2025 strategy commitment to reach more people living with cancer and to improve the support we offer for people who experience inequitable access to cancer care and treatment. The design challenge for this project is "How Might We develop a scalable solution that helps people understand their rights, choices and influence in decisions about their care, irrespective of their confidence, self-advocacy skills or system knowledge?"
This is an end-to-end Innovation project that we require to be delivered in its entirety by the supplier(s), with input and guidance from Macmillan. This includes insight development and analysis, solution development, prototyping and testing of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The solution should be scalable and likely be digital or include digital elements.
The supplier must have extensive experience designing with communities and individuals that are marginalised. The supplier should be an expert in approaches including designing from the margins and embed meaningful and equitable participatory approaches into every phase of the project.
Given the nature of the requirements, we are open to working with 2 suppliers who can deliver different elements or phases of the project.
The agency must be able to recruit participants who reflect Macmillan's priority cancer support audiences to take part in user research, co-design and testing of solutions; people who have been diagnosed with cancer in the past 5 years. This includes people who are currently undergoing anti-cancer treatment (more details in attachment).
Timelines
โข Expression of interest response deadline by 10/03/2026.
โข Selected agencies will receive the full RFP pack in March / April.
โข The anticipated project duration is 4-6 months from kick-off. The final timeline will be agreed with Macmillan during the tender process.
Supplier Response Instructions
Via email, interested suppliers should provide: (1) A brief outline of their research, design and innovation approach, including how they will use design from the margin approaches (see examples here); (2) evidence of prior engagement and participatory work with marginalised communities (3) evidence of developing and delivering scalable products and/or services (especially digital) (4) identification of gaps in their ability to meet the full requirements and if there are gaps (5) willingness to partner with another agency.
Responses at this stage do not need to be extensive. Responses should be sent to procurement@macmillan.org.uk with the subject line EOI - Innovation Advocacy/Empowerment.

Agents Assemble - The Healthcare AI Endgame
NOTE: We are not accepting any additional applications or inquiries for judges at this time. Due to the high volume of requests, we will not be responding to messages regarding judging opportunities. Thank you for your interest and understanding.
Agents Assemble: The Healthcare AI Endgame Challenge
Build Interoperable Healthcare Agents at the Intersection of MCP, A2A, and FHIR.
We have all watched the AI in healthcare trailers - the hype, the theories, and the cool demos. But now, we have entered the Endgame. At Prompt Opinion, we define this phase as "The Last Mile" - the critical gap where raw intelligence must be converted into actionable deliverables. To conquer this mile, we cannot work alone. We are proud to launch Agents Assemble, a builderโs competition designed to prove that the power of AI lies in collaboration.
Our platform provides the headquarters for this mission, giving you native access to the industry's best tools to build in two distinct ways: you can forge a Superpower (building the MCP tools that fuel the ecosystem), or you can rise up to build a Full Agent (equipping those superpowers to tackle a specific healthcare challenge).
The technology is ready. The platform is open. Itโs time to assemble. ย
Why Participate?
This competition is a launchpad for AI solutions that will power future healthcare workflows. Here is why you should join:
Lucrative Cash Prizes:ย Compete for a total prize pool ofย $25,000 USDย in cash, including aย $7,500 Grand Prize. Widespread Visibility:ย Successful projects will be published in theย Prompt Opinion Marketplace, making them discoverable and invokable by organizations across the ecosystem. Develop Skills That Matter:ย Gain hands-on experience with theย Model Context Protocol (MCP)ย andย Agent-to-Agent (A2A)ย standards for building AI agents. Build Healthcare Ready Solutions:ย Learn how by using theย SHARP extension specs from Prompt Opinion, your tools and agents will seamlessly propagate data context using FHIR through multi-agent call chains. Collaborate and Network:ย Join a community of like-minded innovators and connect with leaders atย Prompt Opinionย who are shaping the future of AI infrastructure. Bragging Rights:ย Beyond the prizes, you will walk away with the pride of having built a functional, standards-compliant AI solution that can integrate directly into a clinician's workspace. Requirements
CHECK OUT THE GETTING STARTED VIDEO HERE -ย https://youtu.be/Qvs_QK4meHcย
Your Challenge
The goal is to develop a healthcare AI solution and demonstrate its successful integration into theย Prompt Opinion platform.ย You may choose one of two technical paths for your submission:
Option 1: Build a Superpower (Powered by MCP)
Build the hammer. Create an MCP server that exposes a specific set of tools, some of which may or may not use patient data. By building an MCP, you forge a capability thatย anyย agent can pick up and use.
Option 2: Build an Agent (Powered by A2A)ย
Build a superhero. Configure an intelligent Agent to handle complex healthcare workflows. Using Conversational Interoperability (COIN) and A2A standards, your agent can help other agents solve real problems.
Note on A2A:ย You donโt need to be a developer in A2A protocols. Prompt Opinion supports developing agents within the platform without any code. Our platform handles complex communication natively. You focus on the use case, and our system ensures your agent can talk, listen, and collaborate from day one. ย
How it Will Work
For this challenge, you must utilize theย Prompt Opinion platform.
Register:ย Sign up on the Hackathon Website and create a free account at Prompt Opinion. Build:ย Develop your MCP server or A2A agent using your own infrastructure and the reference implementations provided. You can also configure an A2A agent directly on the platform. Check out the overview video Integrate:ย Ensure your solution uses theย SHARP Extension Specsย to handle healthcare context like patient IDs and FHIR tokens. While not required, it is highly recommended that you use data from a FHIR server in your solution. Publish:ย Configure and publish your project to theย Prompt Opinion Marketplaceย so it can be discovered and invoked within the platform. Submit:ย Provide a demonstration video (under 3 minutes) showing your project functioning within the Prompt Opinion platform. ย
Why Prompt Opinion?
Prompt Opinion solves the "plumbing" problems that typically consume most of the engineering effort in healthcare AI.
Standards Built-In:ย The platform is natively built onย MCPย andย A2A, ensuring your tools work across the entire ecosystem without custom glue code. SHARP Context Propagation:ย The platform bridges EHR session credentials directly into SHARP context, so you don't have to invent bespoke token-handling solutions. No Vendor Lock-In:ย Using open standards means any compliant tool or agent works, allowing for easy upgrades or swaps. Agent Composition:ย Organizations can compose multiple specialist agents from the registry into a single workspace, allowing them to work together as one. ย
Join the Challenge
The era of building AI in silos is over. This is your chance to innovate, learn, and create agents that can improve healthcare.
Are you ready to assemble?ย Sign up for theย Agents Assemble Hackathonย today, and letโs build the endgame of healthcare AI together!
Submission Period:ย Monday, March 4, 2026 โ Monday, May 11, 2026.ย Winners Announced:ย On or around Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Hackathon Sponsors

CA17309 - Renewable Energy Consortium
Description
There is a gap in CPC's portfolio for a Framework to purchase Renewable Energy directly from energy suppliers.
