  2. I know that some founders offer big donors a stake in the company, but I've not felt comfortable turning that much control over. As such, I've stuck to smaller rewards. You could always offer a lifetime of free updates, if you've created an app. Additional options are to offer free merchandise or access to behind the scenes material.
  3. Hi there, Valerian. I do all of my own technical work, but my sister is in the same field and she'd be open to working with you. She has helped me before with my startup when I couldn't find the time to work on my site. My sister has a degree in computer science and tons of experience. I can shoot you a message with her information if you'd like.
  4. Welcome to the startup group. It's cool that you're using your education to help startup founders. How long have you been in the business of coaching?
  5. Why not be hands-on and take the DIY route, after all, you know what defines your startup better than anyone. I used Canva to make my logo. They have loads of templates available and the website is intuitive to use. I'm quite pleased with it.
  6. I'm with Pandora on this one; it's important to get your name out there as soon as possible. You want to be the trending topic before the competition can take that spot. It's all about creating buzz and the anticipation of your launch.
  7. I'm excited to be here, and I am glad that you created this space for entrepreneurs. It's good to see a nice mix of people from all walks of life. Hopefully we can brainstorm together.
  8. I'd say they were incredibly successful, wouldn't you? I wonder how the company will weather the storm with local authorities raising the council tax on second homes in the UK? I doubt they'll experience much change, honestly. Property and travel are as hot as ever.
  9. I've noticed that consumers in the UK are massively pushing back against robotics and AI technology. I wouldn't dare start a venture involving robots until public opinion changes. I know the company was reckless with their funds, but I believe it was doomed to fail from the start because consumers weren't on board with the concept.
